Looking for Ways to Give Back This Holiday?
Here are a few ideas of ways you can help your community during the holiday season and beyond. For a complete list, download our PDF flier here.
Adopt men in transitional housing
11 men, in recovery from drug/alcohol addictions, live in a supportive community setting in MSC transitional housing in Federal Way. Each makes less than $350/month, half of which goes to pay rent. While living in MSC housing they work with a case manager to stabilize their lives. Many have no family or are estranged from family. Help give these men a meaningful holiday. You can:
• Provide a holiday meal (ingredients for a meal, or cook it for them)
• Provide gifts for one or many (MSC can provide a list of ideas)
For details, contact Doug Johnson, MSC Case Manager, at (253) 838-6810, ext. 161; or dougj@multi-servicecenter.com
