If You Need Housing

Stable housing is a cornerstone for building self-sufficiency for years to come. Multi-Service Center owns and operates housing from family shelter and transitional to low-income permanent housing for people of many different income levels. If you need a place to live, Mult-Service Center staff will do what they can to help you.

Housing services we offer include:

Family Shelter
Multi-Service Center's family shelter consists of 15 two- and three-bedroom houses in a neighborhood in Kent. Families stay here temporarily while working with a case manager to set goals for finding stable housing. Learn more here

Family Transitional Housing
Families who can afford to pay a portion of their rent may qualify to live in Multi-Service Center transitional housing for up to two years. During that time, families will work with case managers to set and reach goals toward creating self-sufficiency. Learn more here

  • Women's Clean and Sober Transitional Housing
  • Women, who have completed a treatment program for drug and alcohol addictions, live in community with other women in recovery in Multi-Service Center's Titusville Program in Kent. Women live here for up to two years in a dormitory style facility (shared restrooms), while working with a case manager to create a more stable future. Learn more here

  • Men's Clean and Sober Transitional Housing
  • Men, who are in recovery for drug and alcohol addictions and are able to pay a portion of their rent, live in community with other men in recovery in one of two houses owned by Multi-Service Center. Men live here for up to two years while working with a case manager to create a more stable future. Learn more here

  • Affordable Permanent Housing
  • Individuals and families who are able to sustain affordable market rate rent may qualify to live in one of several MSC-owned apartments in south King and Pierce Counties. Some apartments are case managed to help residents meet goals toward becoming more self-reliant. Learn more here

    Senior Housing
    Multi-Service Center has three apartment complexes for independent seniors of low to moderate incomes. Learn more here

    Rent Assistance
    Multi-Service Center's Rent Assistance program helps residents of qualifying South King County cities prevent eviction with financial assistance toward their rent. Learn more here
